Then you will know that I, the LORD your God, dwell in Zion, my holy hill. Jerusalem will be holy; never again will foreigners invade her. “In that day the mountains will drip new wine, and the hills will flow with milk; all the ravines of Judah will run with water. A fountain will flow out of the LORD’s house and will water the valley of acacias.
Reflection. This picture of plenty when the LORD is present is wonderful: wine, milk, water and a fountain flowing from the LORD's house. Plenty of fluids in a desert land. Notice well that when God is present what is provided is exactly what the people need in that moment, time and place.
What are our needs at the moment? Do we long for the living presence of the Living God as the one who satisfies our deepest need?
Praise. Praise be to LORD who brings water to the desert. Praise be to Jesus who satisfies all our needs. Praise be to the Holy Spirit who fills our hearts. Amen.
