​Definitely risen. Scripture, reflection and prayer.

Luke 24:39-43 NIV

39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”
40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. 41 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he took it and ate it in their presence.

Reflection. 

In the preceding verses Jesus has appeared to his disciples. They are both startled, terrified and think they are seeing a ghost. Jesus offers them proof that he is well and truly risen, that he is real and alive. Look and touch, he says. Then he has dinner, a nice fish supper.  Alleluia, Christ is risen. He is risen indeed. Alleluia. 

Prayers. Lord Jesus, may I never doubt you are risen and alive. May I long to join you in the great feast. May I rejoice. Amen.
