Psalm 15
LORD, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? 2 The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; 3 whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbour r, and casts no slur on others; 4 who despises a vile person but honours those who fear the LORD; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind; 5 who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken. Reflection. We know that we are saved by grace and not because of anything we have done. Being saved and receiving the Holy Spirit gives us the opportunity to live according to God's will and standard. The psalm we have just read gives us some concrete examples of what such a lived life would look like. Did you notice that pslam reminds us of relationships being at the heart of things: how we slate to God and to people. Such a life would assure us that we know that God is in our lives - 'who may abide in your tent Who may dwell on your Holy Mountain. Who will know they are with God.... Prayer. Lord God Almighty, thank you for your presence in my life. Help we to live according to your will. Thank you. Amen.
