Majesty. Scripture, reflection and praise

Psalms 93:1-2 NIV​

The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure. Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.

Reflection. 

Every now and the, well, always really, it is worth reminding ourselves that our God is majesty personified. God is awesome, in the sense that God causes awe to arise in us. At least, He should. 

Read again and be 'awed.' 
Did we notice the repetition of 'majesty.' 
Did we notice the repetition of 'established.'

Praise. 

Lord God Almighty, we worship you. We stand in awe of your majesty. Our eyes are opened wide in wonder. You cause us to wonder at your love shown us in Jesus. We pray in His name. Amen.
