“The Lord our God spoke to us at Horeb, saying, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Resume your journey, and go into the hill country of the Amorites as well as into the neighboring regions—the Arabah, the hill country, the Shephelah, the Negeb, and the seacoast—the land of the Canaanites and the Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates.'
Reflection. It is all too easy to stay in the comfortable, safe and well known, familiar places. Do we believe God wants us to be static or do we believe Jesus calls us onwards into new experiences with Him? The Holy Spirit is described as wind, fire, breath, dove...
Prayer. Lord Jesus, when I get all too comfortable, please give me courage to get up and walk with you. Amen.
