Praise! Scripture, reflection and praise.

Psalm 150

1Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty firmament!
2Praise him for his mighty deeds;
praise him according to his surpassing greatness!
3Praise him with trumpet sound;
praise him with lute and harp!
4Praise him with tambourine and dance;
praise him with strings and pipe!
5Praise him with clanging cymbals;
praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
6Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

Reflection.  

God is worthy of praise in holy places.
God is worthy of praise in the heavens.
God has done great things. 
God is surpassingly great. 
God is worthy of praise. 
Every single thing that breathes brings praise.

The psalms end with praise. 
A psalm that is all praise. 
There is something in this for us. 
A focus on God will always cause us to praise. When we praise, we are in tune (excuse the pun) with this psalm.

Praise. O Lord God Almighty, you are worthy of our praise. We lift your great name on high. We give you our adoration. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
