Habakkuk 3:2-4 "O Lord, I have heard of your renown,
and I stand in awe, O Lord, of your work.
In our own time revive it;
in our own time make it known;
in wrath may you remember mercy.
God came from Teman,
the Holy One from Mount Paran.Selah
His glory covered the heavens,
and the earth was full of his praise.
The brightness was like the sun;
rays came forth from his hand,
where his power lay hidden."
Reflection. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the renown and honour of God was restored in our land?
Dwell on that for a moment.
Ponder deeply what it would mean to have a Holy Spirit led country.
Think how different 'normal' life would be.
And if it causes you to groan in the Spirit of God, as you cannot find the words, as you compare that vision of peace, justice, love, fellowship, friendship inclusion, welcome and worship to the lack of these experienced by so many. Well, groan, I say. And pray for a shake up!
And remember that our God does reign.
And remember that our God does look on us.
And remember that our God does love us...to the uttermost in Jesus.

(I love it when hymns and songs are Scripture based.)
