​Saved. Scripture, reflection and prayer.

Jeremiah 46:27 "But as for you, have no fear, my servant Jacob,
    and do not be dismayed, O Israel;
for I am going to save you from far away,
    and your offspring from the land of their captivity.
Jacob shall return and have quiet and ease,
    and no one shall make him afraid."

Reflection. How much good news can be contained in a single verse? Look at the promises in this verse:

Have no fear.
Do not be dismayed.
I am going to save you.
Jacob (make that you and me) shall return.
Have quiet and ease.
No one shall make him afraid.

Here's hoping that this single verse has gone someway to reassuring us that God is for us and not against us.
