​Security. Scripture, reflection and prayer

 
Psalms 125:1-2 NIV

​Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
Reflection. 

Mountains are magnificent! They are solid and secure and remain unchanged for ages and ages. This is the image of security and safety is the one applied to the people of God, those who trust in Him. The next time you look at a mountain and are wowed by it, take a moment to reflect that such is your security in Christ.

May I never forget nor take for granted the security I have in you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
