Thankful remembrance. Scripture, reflection and prayer.

Psalm 105:1-6 
"Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced, you his servants, the descendants of Abraham, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob."

Reflection. As we read this psalm, let us do as it asks. Let's not just read the words. 

Let's proclaim God's name; 
Let's make known what God has done.
Let's sing praise to him.
Let's tell of his wonderful acts.

Quite a lot packed into six verses for we adopted offspring of Abraham, children of Jacob and chosen ones!

Prayer. Lord God Almighty, thank you for all your goodness. Thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for Jesus. Amen.
