Valuables. Scripture, reflection and prayer.

Matthew 13:44-46 "“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field."“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it."
Reflection. How valuable do we consider the Kingdom of Heaven to be?  Would we give it such value as to sell everything, all we had, to possess it? And, if we do value the Kingdom rightly, is it something we consider worth telling others about. This is gospel stuff. Do you know anyone else who needs to find the Kingdom? Just one. Let's make this the year of Find(ing) One who we can introduce to Jesus.
Prayer. Lord Jesus, help me to recognise your kingdom, and to value it aright. Amen.
