Sharon-Lee Beattie - Property and Facilities Officer​

​Hello! My name is Sharon-Lee Beattie and I have been the Property & Facilities Officer for the PDMC for seven years. My role varies from arranging tradesmen to fix a leaking tap, to managing a complete renovation of a whole Manse. I also oversee any projects for the seventeen churches in the Circuit; this can range from a boiler replacement, rebuilding a Grade 11 Listed wall, full roof replacement or completely re-developing a church. This is all delivered following legislation and processes, working with TMCP, City Council, Heritage preservation and ensuring we are following Charity Law and Governance. One thing is for sure is that my job is never boring!

During my spare time I enjoy socialising, holidaying with my husband, cooking for my family, cross-stitching and reading a good book. I am also the Event Manager for the Southwest Philharmonia and Chorus, a Community Choir & Orchestra, and I also perform with Plymouth Military Wives Choir.
