A prayer on the death of Her Majesty the Queen..................

The Plymouth and Devonport Methodist Circuit expresses our condolences to the family of Her Majesty the Queen, and offer our prayers for and with all who are mourning the loss of our Queen.  We give thanks to God for Queen Elizabeth’s life of dedicated service which was underpinned by her Christian faith.  Her example of humble service and profound commitment to her people will continue to inspire many.

Prayer:

​Creator God,
We give thanks for the life of Her Most Gracious Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
We honour her life of service built on a firm foundation of faith and an exemplary commitment to duty.
Comfort those who mourn and bring peace to those in distress.
​We offer our prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
