Bovey Tracey and Ashburton Methodist Churches are recruiting a new worker for a new project. 30 hours/week, £25,000 p/a full time equivalent. Initially for 18 months, with the potential of an extension to the contract continuation and further development of which will dependent on the outcome and experience of the pilot. This project seeks to develop the existing Growing Space Project in Ashburton and to encourage residents around Bovey Tracey and Ashburton who have gardeners to identify a patch of land / their garden and to grow vegetables and fruit that will then be made available to our residents via the moorland-based community food hubs, community fridges and foodbanks.
